Discover West Concord Day – Fun for the Whole Family

Gather the family on Saturday, October 20th from 10am to 4pm and join us for the “2nd Annual Discover West Concord Day”. 

Over 35 of West Concord’s independent retailers, businesses and community groups will be participating in this fun-filled day.  There will be music, entertainment, free food, Halloween candy, wine and bourbon tastings, artist demos, a Haunted Halloween alley way, face painting, wellness demos, and more!  Don’t miss the biggest event of the year in West Concord Village.  

 

Sampling of the days events:

Music with Russell Turnquist (Rusted Bucket & Friends) – Russell & his friends will be playing in different locations in West Concord Village through out the day.


Debra’s Natural Gourmet’s 23rd Birthday Party & Non-GMO Food Fair – Samples of products from many of their favorite food companies plus birthday cake & ice cream from 10am – 2pm.

          

noa jewelry, fine handcrafts & gifts – Sidewalk Sale and meet the local artists.

Concord Flower Shop – Free mini-pumpkin, flower arranging workshop.

Dabblers hobbies+café – Free wood carving demonstration with award winning bird carving artist Jane Layton 3pm – 5pm, Halloween crafts at the Craft Table.

Reasons To Be Cheerful – Cocoa House Open Mic – Open Mic opportunity just for kids. All performers will receive a hot cocoa or kiddie ice cream – 4pm.

Vintages – Wine Tasting – “Discover What Makes Wine Great!” – 1pm – 4pm.

Hammersmith Studios – “Try It” – Come in and heat a piece of metal and forge something cool – 10am – 2pm.

Concord-Carlisle Adult & Community Education – Performances by students of the Instrumental Music School.

West Concord 5 & 10’s Haunted Halloween Alley – Walk the ghoulish alley between the 5 & 10 and Reasons To Be Cheerful.

Yoga & Nia for Life – Barefoot Dance Party – 2pm – 4pm.

West Concord Liquors – Single Malt Scotch & Bourbon tasting – 3pm – 6pm.

Merlin’s Silver Star Studio – Silversmithing demonstrations.
